The Destruction of the Sisterhood, also known as The Day of the Fall, The Destruction Cycle, or just The Cycle, is a succession of tragic events regarding the untimely death of one of the Charmed Ones and the destruction of their sisterly bond. In every generation, when the Power of Three became too great for them to bear, it would eventually lead to the demise of one of the sisters, often through unnatural causes, meeting their end either through the weight of the Power of Three or being killed in battle. With the destruction of the sisterhood, the Power of Three would be lost until the next Charmed Ones were activated, and the cycle would start all over again.

Death of Prue Halliwell in the Original timeline

On May 17, 2001, the eldest sister of Piper and Phoebe Halliwell, Charmed One Prue Halliwell, was killed by the Source of All Evil's personal assassin, the demon Shax. Her death led to the discovery of a long-lost, half-sister Paige Matthews - a Charmed sister.

Phoebe Halliwell's Death (Alternate History 1)

In 2009, in an alternate future, Phoebe was convicted of the death of a baseball player who killed her best friend, Elise Rothman. She was sent to execution, and that started modern-day witch hunters in 2009.

Piper Halliwell's Death (Alternate History 2)

In May 2001, the Charmed Ones were exposed as witches worldwide. Meanwhile, one woman named Alice Hicks wanted to join their coven; however, Prue turned her down and threw her away from their house. Alice does not accept this and wants revenge, while Piper and Prue talk about how to stop the mess they made, then Alice shoots her, and Prue cries. She took her to the hospital, but Piper had already lost too much blood and died next to Prue.

Paige Matthews's Death (Cole's Alternate Reality)

In May 2001, Paige was killed by a powerful demon named Shax after she killed her older sister, Prue, also while the power of three was destroyed, and Cole married Phoebe, who doesn't love him, which leads Piper to become a vengeful and bitter demon hunter, looking to avenge Prue by vanquishing Shax. This also led to a divorce between her and Leo.

Phoebe Halliwell's Death (Alternate Timeline)

After the Ultimate Battle ended, Paige and Phoebe both died; however, Piper did not, and it was the destruction of their sisterhood.
